Soirée Art-Thé-Stique is a night of Art, Music and Tea held at Rouge Gorge Gallery in Memeramcook. It happens on a bi-monthly basis.The last Art-Thé-Stique event was on July 8th 2010 and I was happily a part of it.

The evening featured:

1) 'How to handle your balls' : Workshop on the preperation of Acadian poutines (Clarence LeBlanc).
2) The Adventures of a Memramcook Farm Boy in South America : Travel photo presentation (Jérémie Gaudet).
3) Group exhibit, live art and concordant/dissonant music courtesy of the TBA COLLECTIVE!

Unique Corn Productions

Unique Corn Productions was founded by myself and fellow Artist Jean-Pierre Morin(Jeep) with the purpose of organizing Fine Arts Group Shows with Corny themes.

The first Unique Corn Art Show is entitled "Unique Corn" and features fourteen local Artists who with Artwork with the Unique Corn(unicorns)theme. Opening night scheduled for Friday Ausust 6th 2010 at E dans L'A Gallery, Moncton, N.B.

St George Street Block Party

The last Saturday in June was our second annual St George Street Block Party outside in the Aberdeen Park. Fantastic day! The bands The Wild Gypsies, Syntax Error and Rocking Bebbels played as I did some live painting.

La Fete de la Musique

La Fete de la Musique(The Day of Music) is something that started in France and is now international, especially in French speaking places. The day happens once a year. This year I co-hosted the night with Jean-Marc Dugas and ended the night finger painting on Something Delicious as they played their performance.

Highschool Art Class Presentation!

I was recently invited at the Highschool I went to to do presentations in the Art classes with Lucie St-Pierre who taught me a couple of Art classes in highschool. I reminded her that she had to take me outside the class almost every day because I smelled like Cannabis. I wonder how that could have happened.

It was interesting to be on the Teachers' side for once. Eating in their lunch room and all. I was very well greeting and the Principle as well as the vice-Principle both came in the class to look at my work. I presented three paintings, one was my self-portrait entitled "A Taste of Truth", another was my painting of Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation which was part of my "A Brief History of Liberty" series and the third was a more recent painting of my friend Lauren Michele Rossellas a Bumble Bee. I will upload pictures of these in a near future.

The classes went very well. I did two 11th and 12th grades as well as a 9th grade class. My cousin Bianca was in one of the classes and had a picture taken!
